Bengay Cold Therapy Pain Relief Gel with Pro-Cool Technology, 4 oz

Be gay is a product that I have used for years. I had not tried this variety, I find that I prefer the product vs other versions personally. It is not messy to apply, there is no mess or product residual on your clothing. I found the cooling effect very comfortable and effective. There is no long active odor, it is so easy to apply. The product is long acting and aids in sleeping when applied prior to bed. It does not mess up your linens or clothing. I cannot find a negative thing to say about this product, and am happy to say I have a new product that is very effective and plan on continuing to use this product. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who suffers from occasionally suffers from muscle pain or discomfort. This is really a cold product. It is really cold when you first put it on. It worked for a few hours then it went back to hurting. I guess it is ok if you want to put it on every two hours. I have had better things to try but this is not one I will ever buy..

I received this as part of the Wal-Mart Spark review program. I actually have a lot of different pain creams, as I have problems with my back, and feet, but I thought I would try this. It has a very nice smell too it, not like the old Ben Gay you used to know. Once you put it on, you don't even know you are using it. I have used this on my feet and on my son's back. It worked almost instantly on my foot that was throbbing. I massaged it onto my foot and within 5 mins., the pain had actually went away. It lasted a good 3-4 hrs as to the amount of time before I had to re-apply. My son twisted his back at work, so he came home and I put some on his back, and besides being a little cold while applying, it actually helped his back immensely. He could walk around without being stooped over. The product is a gel, so it doesn't leave your hands greasy, or sticky, and is very easy to rub in. I think if anyone would care to try this, they would be pleasantly surprised. It is not your grandparents smelly Ben Gay from the past. I would recommend this to anyone with aches and pains!

This Bengay pain relief gel has a light menthol aroma. You can feel it start to relieve the pain as soon as you are rubbing it in on your sore muscles. It is a cooling feeling at first, then after a little bit, it has a coolish, warmish, tingling feeling. You really do feel it start to work on contact. I was amazed by the amount of relief I felt immediately. I found the rub to be non-greasy. I am older and have issues with my knees. I rubbed the Bengay into my knees before I went to bed, and the next day, my knees did not bother me at all, and I found that moving around was so much easier. I found the relief I got from this gel to be incredible. I will always keep this Bengay on hand.

When I received this product I thought that the cooling effect would not work on my very bad back spasm. But once I tried it I must say I'm a believer. The cooling effects is like what happens when you go to a chiropractor first it's cold very cold treatment then hot. I also like the fact that after 3 used I really felt the deference in my back. The lotion as a gel effect that does not leave your sling or hand feeling oily but still has that bengay smell. Overall absolutely a great product that I received from free but my review is my own.
