Bernzomatic TS4000 Trigger Start Torch

First of all I really like this torch. I use it almost every day in a heavy equipment rental shop. I have had the TS4000 for a about 4 years now and still going strong. CON's the SSTube kept coming lose after about a year. I put some BLUE Threadlocker on it easy fix. Once my coworkers have used it they steel it. Don't know if that is a con. But having to hut for it is. This this is built like a tank. it has fallen from pay loaders,excavators,Skid loaders and has been ran over a time or two.

All Bernzomatic's product are top rate, and I'm sure the TS4000 is, as well. After LOADS of research and contacting Bernz customer service (ALSO top notch!), I bought the TS8000. The only difference is the TS8000 has a flame adjuster. Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it!

This torch made the job quick and easy. It's great that it has the option to stay on continuously, it helped get the job done much faster than anticipated. This is really a versatile tool that has come in handy for many small metal repairs around the property. Was even able to use to help distress some wood for a barn door project as well. Overall very pleased and glad that this product is out there. Highly recommended! The product is solid and feels very well made, I'm sure it will last for years to come! It's a regular in my everyday toolbox now!

It was my mother's who used it primarily for making jewelry, and her father's before that who used it around the house maintaining everything under the sun. It has never failed me, nor either of them from what I've been told and what I can surmise from it's performance in my hands. Replacing this torch while it's still serving me flawlessly would be crazy, right? Well that's just what I've done. A while ago I decided to retire my torch early, to save a few miles on it for the next generation, and that's where the TS4000 comes in. I wanted something that sat on the bottle instead of the remote I currently have. It's just so much easier to use around the house and outside. Everything I've asked it to do since I got it, it's done with precision and efficiency. It's comfortable and intuitive to use, and just sits in my hand naturally. It feels like I could probably hammer a few nails in, and still have it last decades if not longer. I thought I was buying it so I can pass down my old torch, but at this rate I think I might end up passing down both of them.
