Bethany James Collection - Sleigh-Styled Changing Table with Drawers, in Walnut

We recieved this item with the crib from my mother in law. The crib went together in about 20 minutes and we were hopeful that this would be the same way. We were wrong. It took about 3 hours to put this together because the drawer slides were crushed on one side. I had to tak ethem back while my husband kept assembling. Some helpful hints would be to use wood glue and lay all the pieces out in alphabetical order first before anything else. After doing this it still took a while to assemble. The backing is in 3 pieces which is cheap and the wood grain on our doesn't even all run the same direction! To save time get out the cordless drill or you will spend a million years attaching the backing with the screws and a screwdriver. Now that it is assembled though we really like this item but I don't think it will last as long as the matching crib.

This was given to us as a gift. We have the crib also. They both look wonderful when put together. The only complaint I had with the changing table was the wooden dowels that came with it. If you purchase this product...... purchase some wood glue or liquid nails. My husband and I put it together in about 3 hours and used wood glue. Once the glue dried and set up, the table was very sturdy.

This a beauitful piece but a pain to put together. My husband a dad of 6 so he has put together his fair share of baby stuff, had a horrible time. Then finally when it was done(or so we thought) it would not stay together enough to put the drawers in which buy the way are smaller than they lead them to be in the picture.So we had to go back through and apply alot of wood glue. No where in the directions did it say to do this. Now that it is done I just hope it holds up.Money does not grow on trees and when you buy something you expect to have no problems this is not the case. I have choose to keep it so far after all the hard work put into it, and It is just a beautiful changing table.

I got this changing table, and the crib and dresser. The only major complaint I have is putting it together. DH is carpenter and still had trouble. The drawers for this and dresser didn't fit together well ... bottoms of drawers were slightly warped, holes not drilled good. The drawers were very hard to get together, didn't line up right. And the knobs were very very hard to get on, screws didn't fit holes. But all in all its worth it, comes out beautiful and very functionally.

I received the matching crib as a shower gift and I love it. These two items look great together. The crib took an hour to put together, but this changing table took about 5 hours and was quite a challenge at 36 weeks pregnant. The box was slightly damaged, and there was damage to two pieces. It would be too much hassel to return/exchange so I can live with it. I agree with others comments that it the finish scratches quite easily. But anyway, I'm satisfied with it and it looks great. As I assembled it however, I wished I had gotten the other changing table. Just know what you're getting yourself into with assembling this one!!!
