Better Homes & Gardens 72" Stepped Shower Rod, 1 Each

I've been patient with this shower curtain rod for over a year, but am now totally fed up with it repeatedly falling down. I've put it up over and over, following the directions. I've even googled how to make this type of shower curtain rod stay up. The last time it fell, the cushion pad at one end came off, with no way to replace it. I've noticed that previous reviews were answered with a phone number to call. I'm so fed up with this product that I want nothing to do with calling the number or requesting replacement parts when it's just going to keep falling. I have another one/same brand/same item/purchased at the same time in my guest bathroom, and it also keeps falling. I would suggest looking for a different product.

Purchased on May 6, 2018 and it fell apart in mid September...a month past 90 day return policy. Will not hold tension at all. No longer have packaging, but do have the receipt on Savings Catcher. I have sent an email to customer service to see if I have any recourse.

This piece of trash is difficult to install. Once we figured it out, it stayed up for about one week, apparently not fastened well enough, it fell and busted my sons nose as he was showering. After 4 people in the house tried to reinstall it, we cannot get the darn thing to hold. Spend the money on a better product

It took us a while to realize that this is not a spring tension rod. We were use to twisting and twisting until we had a tight tension to the wall. But unfortunately with spring tension rods, if you twist too much you break the spring mechanism and the whole thing is broken. Ok, now this product. It works, follow the 3 steps: pull out the rod s far as you can to meet the walls, then twist so that the rods do not push back into themselves, now, the most important part is this last one: one of the end caps is screwed in, rotate that end cap so that the end cap screws outward and that is how you get the right tension. The tension comes from that end cap which will give you a tight tension. We got the white one, and now we wait and see and hope that it doesn't rust. It looks nice.
