Better Homes & Gardens Blossom Pedestal Fountain

I read all the reviews before purchasing this fountain and I was quite concerned about the melting factor because the weather gets really hot in the Inland Empire. However, I took my chances and so far so good. It looks great on my apartment patio and even my neighbors enjoy the continuous water sound. I've surrounded the fountain with beautiful Jasmines, Begonia's and Mexican Heather's. I plan on adding some decorative bricks to surround the fountain for a more elegant style along with some foliage plants like Elephant Ears. It was easy to assemble in less than 15 minutes; holds about 1 1/2 gallons of water to fill the basin and the water literally flows all day. In addition, I purchased a cord protector so the cord would not be left on the ground unprotected and also a little clear box to house the connection of the fountain and extension cord I needed since the outlet is about 4ft away from where my fountain is located. The only thing I would change is that the water does not flow completely around the basin for some reason and the cord could have been longer. Its a really great fountain for the price. I took several photos of my patio makeover but can only post two.

We purchased this fountain for a front-yard water feature. The pump came somewhat broken looking, but it worked once it was set up and plugged in. We loved the water trickling sound that filled the yard. Then less than ten days later, the pump died. We are unable to fix it, and now they are sold out in the store and on-line. And they are not ordering anymore...we are so bummed! We were hoping to exchange it, too! So, hope yours will last. Overall, if it lasts, a great fountain for the price!!!

I purchased this back in may and it's sept now, gotta say this little fountain has been a delight! It's been running day and night since I first plugged it in and hasn't failed me once. I love the sound, wouldn't want one quieter since when the screen door is open I get to hear the lovely water "music". It's in a mostly shady spot surrounded by hostas so I haven't encounterd the melting problem. Was definitely worth the $90 I paid for it!

I've had the fountain for 3 months. It was never quite level but i propped it up. It was fine for a month then it started warping and leans so bad no I need to put a 3 inch board under it to level it out... and it still continues to warp. Hopefully walmart will take it back.

Within one week of setting this fountain up it began to lean. I fought with trying to level it up everyday. Then within two weeks I realized this thing was melting at the base. It is now completely unusable. I got this on clearance for $50 and I'm mad I spent this much! Check out the pic....this is after just two weeks....
