The color was not exactly as I had expected, but is, nevertheless, acceptable.

We have used it for a month now and are happy with it. Yes it is thinner than our old one, but it does give us the shade we need, but does not stop all the rain. But that is a different umbrella.

The umbralla is great but it shows in the on line catalog as having a base; it does not. You have to order a base to use it.

OK, I was prepared for it to not block 100% of the sun-it is quite bright under the umbrella-you can still see your shadow on the ground. I would say it blocks about 70% of the sun. Then came the rain-I was shocked that it did not keep us dry! The rain came right through it! I never thought an "umbrella" would let rain through. For the $50 clearance price it is worth it for moderate sun reduction, crank opening and tiltability. If you need to stay dry-don't bother!

I love the umbrella. We have used it everyday. Keeping my kids company in the pool, I can sit and read.
