Better Homes & Gardens Signature Soft Heathered Bath Sheet, Soft Silver

I'm a big fan of Better Homes and Gardens products but this one falls short. I love how soft these towels are and the color is great too, but I've washed them about five times now and they're still shedding like crazy. They leave little fibers all over my shower and on me and my husband. I've never had a problem like this with towels before. :(

I'm old school when it comes to towels. I want a towel that dries, not smears water around. I looked at the ratings on this brand of towel and while some people did give it a bad rating (that's normal) the majority did give it a good rating so I purchased it. I took it home, washed it first (didn't find any lint balls like some people said although it did shed a lot in the dryer on medium heat) and then I took a shower. That's when I knew it wasn't for me. It smeared the water around instead of absorbed it. Just like all the rest. I have old towels from the 70's and 80's that when you use them the water is GONE when you wipe. They ABSORB moisture. This one didn't do that. This was a bath sheet for goodness sake and I still had to use a separate towel to completely dry off (yes I'm a large person but still...) Would not recommend this at all.

I sprung for some new blue towels to match my bathroom. These felt thick, plush, and were a beautiful Navy Blue. What a joke. Thick and plush indeed, but after 4 months, they still put off blue lint everywhere when you dry off with them. After too many washes to count, I can still only wash them with each other because they are still putting off blue dye as well. I do not recommend

The towels are soft but not very absorbent. However, after several washings they continue to bead up and get little "beads" over anything else you wash with them. Additionally, the little "beads" fall off onto the floor after the towels are dry whenever you use them. Very disappointing, as they create quite the little mess.

I ordered 3 towels and 3 washcloths but only received 3 towels and 1 washcloth. My order for the remaining 2 washcloths was cancelled. So now I have to return the 2 towels without matching washcloths. Why wasn't my request backordered until more stock was received?
