Better Homes&gardens 100% Cotton 3 Pc Towel Set

I bought several sets of these towels in this brown and aqua pattern. At first appearances they looked to be high quality and a plush towel, with colors which were beautiful. I was thrilled with my purchase. Until the first time I washed them. I followed instructions and washed these towels in cold water using a mild and safe detergent, and even washed them on a gentle cycle to preserve their plushness. I was shocked when I removed them from the dryer. Several had areas in which it became obvious these products are not made to be colorfast. The colors faded drastically in spots,..not even uniformly. They looked as though someone had poured bleach into my washer. It was horrible. By the time the towels has gone through their third wash every single one of them had these large, faded and ugly areas. They were no longer towels I would leave out for anyone to see. I wanted to believe this was a batch issue,..that I was just unlucky. Surely BH&G would not produce such an inferior product. But I was wrong. I gave the name brand one more chance,..and bought a queen sized sheet set,..and those colors faded BEFORE the first wash after only sleeping on them for 3 days. UNBELIEVABLE! I would have given this name brand of products a zero star rating if I could. I will NEVER buy this name brand product again. I have owned other name brands which not only stood the test of many, many washes, but fell apart from years of use long before their colors faded. They will not get another chance.

I love the size and thickness of these towels. When I got them I loved thevway they looked. However, after one washing, both towels I bought have several pulled threads. This hasn't happened with any of my other towels, so I know it's not my washing machine's fault. So much for pretty towels in my new house.

I bought these in the dark grey color. They are much darker than pictured. When washed, they shed terribly and leave little knots of lint all over the shower and bathroom floor and your skin. They are not wearing well either. I am sorry I bought these, I thought they would be much better quality for the cost.

Beautiful towels, wash great and are soft and plush. These are for the guest bathroom it matches our wall color and tile perfect. Its taken me forever to find something that matched. I purchased the rug too! I am going to buy more these are wonderful!
