Got one for my Mom for Mother's Day, and she loved it! She is a happy Mama. I had ordered an additional one for MIL however SO decided on a different gift so we opened the 2nd one up at our house and have been taking turns. Really lime the Beurer Company.
This review is really just three stars because it didn't do what I hoped it would. If you are looking for something to improve circulation while sitting long periods, this isn't it. It's designed for tired feet from standing, but I was hoping it'd stimulate my feet and ankles while at the computer. It does feel nice, but has no effect on them swelling. No doubt I'd like it a lot more if I needed it for what most people would buy it for. I can tell it'd be fabulous for easing aches and tension, although the center knobs should be higher to reach your arch. It would also be better if the heat was a separate switch and not tied to speed.
I've never had a foot massager but do like the Beurer FM 60. It is electrical and not battery, which I liked. It has two settings: one with heat and one without. Frankly, I couldn't really feel much heat coming from the pad, so I 'm not sure how useful it is. It is recommended not to use it more than fifteen minutes at a time. Why the time limit is unclear to me, but that is plenty of time. My feet do feel really great after a session. I do want to caution people who might have painful corns or calluses though. I have that problem and once I applied too much pressure to the pad and it was quite painful. Overall, this is a solid well built foot massager, which I highly recommend.
This product has three settings gentle, fast with heat and off. I did enjoy the fast mode but not the heat i like the cool option it helps my feet. I think options without the heat and fast would be great and a heating option for the slow setting. The placement of the foot massagers is great they hit just the right spot.
I first used this Beurer Foot Massager on the high speed setting, with heat. The massage was a little harder than I had anticipated, but certainly did the job. I haven't suffered from foot, toe or ankle pain, but when finished, my feet felt very relaxed and soothed. Even in August, I did appreciate the additional comfort of the heat setting. Then, I tried the low-speed setting. I could sit there for a long time with that setting, and it too, left my feet feeling nicely comfortable. Just plug it in, turn it on and you are ready for a deep tissue massage in the privacy of your own home.
