Threw out the run flats and bought Michelin. Tossed out the Michelins, bought the T/A G-force and now I'm happy. Bought a set for wife's 2002 T-Bird and now she's happy too. Excellent tires!
I have a pair on my rear rims on a 09 hemi orange srt8 challenger. Im on my 3rd set now and everyone of them was very old but took a beating from me and my foot. It takes texas roads and crazy weather very well and I recomend to a friend for a little extra wide grip. Bf has good product for it to last that long and very satisfied with it performance on the street.
Not sure if prior review went through. Please accept my apologies if there are two. The tires went on a 1985 Camaro. I just bought Ronal knockoffs. Ronals were the wheels that came as original equipment on the Firebird Firehawk. The wheels are 17x9.5. Researched before I purchased. The main complaint with the TA KDWs seems to be noise, although there were a few other complaints. Given my setup I wasn't too worried about being unable to hear the stereo. Considered another brand before I purchased, but the dealer said the TA KDWs were a better tire. Anyway, after installation I took the car for a spin and I did not notice any noise coming from the tires. The good: Tires fill the wheel wells nicely. Nice, aggressive tread pattern that is appropriate for the vehicle. No noticeable noise. Although I have not driven in the rain, I doubt that will be a problem given the tread pattern. The bad: These are expensive tires and they are not for everybody. I probably will never have any other tire on this car, but if you drive an expensive German, Italian or Japanese vehicle, and your hearing is sensitive, you may want to consider an even more expensive alternative. Other: The dealer warned me about the tires being sticky. I have a T5, which is a weak transmission anyway. If I get on it I am likely to break the transmission. The tires were installed three days ago so I am unable to provide a lot of the other requested information. I wish Goodrich would allow customers to post photos of their vehicles.
I have a 98 LS1 Trans Am and run staggered 18x8.5 with 245/40's and 18x10 with 275/35's. I have a big can, stall, all the bolt ons including suspension and the car handles and drives better than the Kumho's that came as a package deal. Long as I am going over 40 I can usually get traction anything less and spin away but that's to be expected. The fronts are like new aside from a nick in a side wall. Lady on a cell phone almost ran me off the road and rashed 2 no longer made Killer wheels. I am planning to replacing the rears this time with 295/35's wish I knew they had that width when I went and got this set. Probably replace on one front with a nick since I paid for the warranty. When I had no cam these grabbed hard and launched well so as long as you have less that 350hp at the wheels 275's or 295's should be good.
Have them on my 2012 5.0 Mustang!!! Love them for all kinds of driving conditions.....they are just what i wanted.
