Product Details

BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 Tire All-Season Tire Standard Limited Warranty Passenger Car Rugged Dependability The tire with no boundaries for serious off-road enthusiasts. An Off-Road Maximum Traction tire, the BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 is developed for off-road drivers with full-sized, lifted trucks that go off-road driving. Combining increased traction and mud-clearing, the tire is designed from the ground up to conquer almost any obstacle in its path. Compared to its predecessor, BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM, the second generation provides a smoother ride and less road noise than normally expected from an off-road tire. Inspired by a symmetric design that has deep, self-cleaning autonomous tread blocks and linear transverse flex zone, the Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 molds an off-road tread compound into a Krawler T/A KX-inspired tire. This provides the flexibility desired to allow the tire to conform to off-road obstacles when operating at low speeds as well as being aired-down. The Krawler TEK that is included in the Mud-Terrain T/A KM2, consists of three components. The first component is aggressive sidewall lugs, while the second is cut- and chip-resistant sidewall compounds. Lastly, the BFGoodrich's TriGard casing with sidewall cords is up to 33 percent stronger than the previous Mud-Terrain T/A KM tire. These improvements give for more bite and sidewall protection along as well as more strength and resistance to bruising caused by rugged trails. (Single strand beads increase the tire's fit to the wheel to improve ride quality.

Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 Tire When roadside assistance is not an option. Super-tough sidewall compound and 3-ply construction resists cuts and bruises to take the edge off of rocks and other off-road hazards. Overcome nearly any obstacle Linear flex zones allow the tire to conform and grab obstacles Leave the tow rig at home Drive to the trails with better road manners and less noise Popular Replacement Market Fitments: Dodge Ram Ford F-Sereis Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

Came on my Jeep JT Texas Trail. I have 13,000 miles and cannot wait until they wear out. Road noise is horrible, driver front sounds as if part of the tread is worn more than the rest. Does not handle well cornering on wet pavement. Probably a good tire for off road, but not daily drive. I will perform a 5 wheel rotation this weekend to get the front left into the spare position.

These came standard on my Jeep Gladiator Texas Trail. I have rotated them every oil change at the dealership and I currently have 20,000 miles on my Jeep. These tires will not make it another 5,000 miles. They have worn entirely uneven and lumpy even with a rotation at every oil change. My dealership is unable to do anything for me either for some reason so I thought I would at least give the BF Goodrich community a heads up.

I've bought several sets of these in the past and they have been the best tire I have ever run. The KM3s are a complete downgrade. The KM3s are harder and slip more. The KM2 has the perfect tread softness for sticking to rocks and long lasting on the roads. They are much better in the snow too. The Km2s have the best tread and sidewall design for rock crawling. Please bring them back. I have KM3s right now and unless BFG brings back the KM2s, they will be the last BFG tire I buy.

these are by far the best tires going. Have purchased others tires and have always come back to these tires. Have had the same set on my truck for going on six years and will get another winter on them. Bottom line is " there is no other"

Great tire both on and off the road, excells in the the mud/rocks. A bit noisy on road, but that can be said for any tire with aggressive trad.
