I like that it has 4 diff workouts and it gives you a schedule so it varies. Ive been doing it for one week now and I am already seeing results :-)

I had a baby 3 months ago and I am trying to tone up my body and drop some weight. I have a total of 3 children all under the age of 5. Needless to say I am not one of these women who's body just bounces right back. I don't like plain Jane boring workouts I always seem to lose interest pretty quickly and never pick them up again. Anyway I really wanted something fun like zumba but didn't want people to see me dancing around lol...also I don't have a Wii fit or a connect for Xbox so I couldn't do zumba unless I wanted to buy one of those systems or pay $80 for a zumba kit to be shipped to me.I decided to give this a try. I got it for myself for mother's day and started doing it on the following Monday along with the my fitness pal app on my phone...that was THIS Monday, here it is Thursday and with combining these two things and the obvious change in my diet I have lost 3.5 pounds in this short amount of time!! The workouts are so fun and addictive every time I feel like giving up they always seem to know it and pick me up reminding me of that body I want back and if I just keep going it will come back sooner than dieting alone!! I am so satisfied with this routine, mind you I am not very coordinated, I love it and have already recommended it to several friends and family!! Good luck to you all!!

Your enjoyment of this tape will very much depend on your fitness level. I'm 50, go to the gym 3-5 times a week, but feel ready to pass out after a good spin class. I would call this moderately fit. The package consists of three tapes, all approximately 30-37 min with a warm up and a minimal cool-down. There is a "move demo" for each tape, which is worth watching once; even if you know Latin dance, she calls steps differently than I'm used to. The initial tape, Sizzling Salsa, is relatively slow and repetitive. However, if too easy, the workout can be salvaged. You can increase your heart rate using the salsa weights or, if you need more, 2-3 pound arm weights. The workout is boring, but add some arm movements, alternate left turns with right turns, and change up the arm movements to keep it moving. There are some hops at the end, which are bad for your knees, but these hops can be changed to a cha-cha step with no loss in rhythm or intensity. If you are looking for Zumba, this is NOT Zumba, buy a different set of videos.

I have had this set for a little over a month now. It is a good work out for those who don't want anything toointense or strenuous. For me it's the right amount of physical activity adn speed to get a good work out. It takes a little while to get use to the moves, but there is a step guide you can preview prior. It does get easier the more you go through the routines. Just try not to worry about gettign every move right the first or second time. The DVD's offer a good variety and they are fun while getting a good work out. The schdule is helpful at first, but you'll fidn what works best for you.

The price is great for getting 3 dvds and weights. It's not a hard workout (though it is challenging for someone uncoordinated, such as myself, to get the leg and arm movements going right), but that is what I wanted. I have been walking and doing Pilates. I wanted something a little different. I have done Zumba (that was hard on my knees) and this is similar (not so hard on my knees). I like the variety with these dvds. The music is fun. I do sweat some with this workout, but not a lot. If you are looking for a hard workout, this is not for you.
