[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't typically buy carpet powders because the dust they throw into the air aggravates my lungs causing me to cough and sneeze. However, after a winter of heavy indoor traffic, family and pets, I decided to try this one because it is a Febreze product. I used it on all our carpetted areas. It did still cause me to cough and sneeze (I bent low over the carpet to avoid excessive dust in the air.) The good: It worked at removing any odors in the carpet. While the initial scent is pleasant, it turned sour after a bit (absorbing the odors from the carpet???), but as I vacuumed the powder up, the scent disappeared completely. The bad: the powder was very clumpy. I had to shut the container often to shake it and break it up for a more even spread across the carpet. The powder is also incredibly fine. If you have respiratory issues, I recommend getting a cheap mask until you are done vacuuming (and dusting). I did have to dust my entire house after using this one my carpets. I did like how it freshened up the carpets around my house. But not sure if the mess it creates, or the harshness to my breathing is worth it.
