Been two years now that I have had this and it's been working out really well. I own a small to medium size lot with a lot of landscaping so I give it a work out every week. Like everyone else I was tired of the gas powered products, and tired of the electric ones with a cord. This is super convenient. I rotate the batteries every week so I'm always working off a fresh charge and I have never had the battery drain out. It's not too heavy, and is balanced well. It's also easy to change the cutting cord. I've must have changed it at least 3 or 4 times. This is a good product. I'm going to buy their 18v battery chainsaw. I'm disappointed they don't have a battery operated leaf blower.

Bought this for my dad, since he was looking for a light-weight trimmer. Does a beautiful job trimming and edging, and he has a large yard. My only complaint would be the length of the battery charge. Thank goodness it comes with 2 rechargeable batteries, because both got the job done. Quiet, easy-to-handle, and does a nice, tight trim job. The yard looks great.

It is so much easier doing the lawn without dragging out the 100 foot electrical cord and having to keep bumping the edger to feed the line. The battery does run out if you have a large yard but if you charge the second battery that comes with the edger you can swap batteries and finish the job with no problem. I wish i had this a long time ago!

This is a miracle machine. It is simple to operate and does a real professional looking job. I am very pleased with it. One of the greatest features is the battery pack which doesn't require you to haul around a heavy gas tank or stumble over long extension cords.

First, I have to say, my yard is very small. I have less than 1/4 acre, and a good part of that is covered by my house, driveway, and garage. Based on that, my expectations are probably a lot lower than some that did not like this trimmer. I've had this trimmer for three years now. After I mow my lawn, I grab my trimmer and do the perimeter of my yard, around posts, near the fence, and along the house. Unless I haven't been keeping up with my trimming, I have plenty of time on one battery, and it trims everything beautifully. If I let things get a bit overgrown, it has a hard time getting through it, and the batteries just don't last. It is definitely not a replacement for someone that needs a gas trimmer and has a lot of area to cover. If you know what the limitations are, this product is ideal. I highly recommend it to anyone that has a small yard and doesn't want to bother with gas or extension cords.
