I love how light this iron is! It makes it so much easier when I have a sewing project and lots of seams to press. I like the three dry settings that allow me to get variable temperature without steam even if there is water in the iron. No drips! The pivoting cord is a great feature that allowed me to get to every seam without turning my cut fabric pieces very much. A great iron at a good price! The Light n Easy Iron is exactly that, it is super lightweight and very simple to use. I have always had issues with being able to use a traditional iron for any length of time, my hands would hurt and my arms would get sore. So I was really happy that this was so lightweight and did not bother my hands or arm at all. You can use this with steam or without. I use it with steam and have not experienced any water spots or drips on my clothing and no water has spouted out from the fill hole. It heats up very fast and is adjustable. Small and compact, it will not take up a lot of room while storing and is great to take along with you on trips. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I purchased the black and decker thinking it was a good company and the product would be good but i have several shirts that were ruined due to the iron creating black spots.(i did not use starch but somehow it became dark on the iron) followed the insrtructions didnt leave water in it when finished but still cant get it cleaned. Extremely disappointed.

Just bought it last night, read the instructions and tried to use. It sticks like you can't believe. It, supposedly, has a non-stick surface, but you can hardly iron with it. It makes loud, hissing noises from the holes in the sole plate when you stand it on end while adjusting the garment for continuing. It sloshes water from the water tank onto what is being ironed. All of the things it advertises, it is not. Now that I've used it, I can't take it back. Granted, it was not very expensive. We had another brand of iron that lasted over three years ago and it was less than half the price. We also had a more expensive brand that was four times the price, so we don't just buy inexpensive products. It's really sad that a good company like B&D produces such a product.

I just purchased this iron yesterday, used it today and started spitting and leaking water all over my clothes and ironing board. This is the worst iron I have ever owned. I'll be returning today and never buying a black & decker again. I guess you get what you pay for.
