Lithium Ion Spotlight

Battery go down quick, light stay on only seconds, then turned off by itself. one of the worse thing I bought in my whole life.

I bought this for use originally in my boat. It's important to have a strong light when you are on the water at night. I found it works exceptionally well on the water. I normally drop the intensity to the lower mode, just because I don't need the full brightness. We use it at home too. We frequently have to chase coyotes off, or sometimes find my dog is doing the chasing for me. The spotlight gives daylight equivalent at 200 yards distance to my back fence. It is bright enough to scare the 'yotes away. I'm not sure why the other reviewers complained about the length of time the light operates. The light shines just as long as I press the trigger... The exception is once the battery gets low. The light doesn't get dim like a normal incandescent bulb, it just shuts off. Once you recharge the batteries again it works just fine! I'd recommend the FatMax Lithium Ion Halogen spotlight to anyone that needs to have a convenient, lightweight spot light.

Although the light beam is very bright and lights a long distance, the full charge only provides about 10 minutes at best of lighting. It must be recharged every time I use it. I use it to walk my dog at night which is only about 10 minutes. If I forget to plug it back in after the first walk the light will go out during the next usage.

Bought this for my new daughter-in-law that just moved from benign a city girl to country living. Now she can spotlight all the "what's that" noises at night!!!! She loves it!!!

I prefer the LED model and thought at first this was it, but after receiving it, realized not so. It is a good light however. The very short charge life limits the uses of this light. It provides a sort of yellowish light compared to the LED model. It is very bright however!
