BLACK+DECKER 450W Continuous / 900W Peak Professional Portable Power Station

Worked great for one year of use. Now when I run the air compressor it bogs down at 50 psi on a full charge. And the unit has been charging for a full day. It would be nice if black and decker would have a replacement battery for the unit but can't seem to find it on their website.

I Received the power station as a gift from my wife, 1st time i used it was probably a year later. When i opened the box the unit looked awesome. looked well built and heavy duty. Battery was low so i charged it as instructions showed. !st time i used it was to air up a tire on my truck. Compressor was working great until it got to around 30Lbs then either something in the compressor or the internal air line broke. Had to remove unit before my tire went flat again. Put finger over end of hose while running and no air, just alot of noise. Used it again about a week later to jump my tractor and it worked well. Took it inside garage and didnt use it for a month. Went to jump tractor and unit was dead. Put unit on charge and charge lights are going crazy. It will not take a charge at all. Guess i have an anchor now that i will have to find somewhere to recycle it. I was hoping it was a 5 star tool.

As a great-grand-mother living alone in the land of hurricanes I am mostly afraid of the loss of electricity which we lose a lot. The portable power station has helped me with charging a lamp, fan, cell phone, tablet, radio, cooler, and even helped me blow up my exercise ball. But best of all it keeps my confidence of not falling in the dark during uncertain times and I can lift the power station to move it wherever needed. You bet it is a great insurance policy - it sits waiting to help me so I don't feel alone, nor worry about carbon monoxide. I am sure it would work equally as well on my car if needed and will go with me wherever I go.

power for small fans outdoor. power outages (live in swfl) lightning stikes and or hurricanes.

this will air up a totally flat tire on your car a lot faster than what i expected it will start your car that has a totally dead battery i have not tried this yet but the next time my house electric shuts down, i plan on plugging my tv or computer in to this power unit until house power comes back on. i am assuming it will power my tv or computer for 3 to 4 hours or more. plus after that if house power is still not back on i am thinking that i can plug this black and decker power unit into my car cigarette lighter and let it it charge up somewhat and then it will power up the tv or computer again ! if i do experience this the next time my house power shuts down i will post another review on here with the results.
