I it on a trailer, works great.
Same problem here as with the previous reviewer. The retainer nut inside the housing which holds the magnets are poorly secured. Just slight pressure on the screw pushed them out of their slots. Only way to recover the screw is to completely disassemble unit all the way down to the circuit board. Total time installing batteries ~55 minutes. Poorly designed: Why aren't the magnets secured to the battery covered, instead of all the way through to another plate. Just the difficulty of trying to set this tiny screw through a donut magnet is frustrating enough to look for a better product.

It works well, I wished I had bought them sooner.
