BLU Dash 4.0 D270a GSM Dual-SIM Android Cell Phone (Unlocked), Black and Accessory Kit w/Portable Speaker

I ordered a NEW Blu Dash D270a. No mention of it being a refurbished item when I ordered it on the website (although now the site reflects this). When the unit arrived, it had someone else's contacts already on the phone. The phone itself works as advertised. My disappointment is with Walmart. Not a bad smartphone though.

This phone works well and has many interesting features. One feature, the ability to move an app to the external SD card, is not working properly. When I moved some apps, like SKYPE, the app seems to move, but the shortcut link remains pointed to the old location on the internal phone storage. When you click the shortcut, it responds with "app not installed". When I re-installed the app I ended up with a duplicate, one on the internal card and one on the external card, defeating the purpose of the move to conserve internal storage space. Hope this can be fixed with an OTA update.

Bough the Blu Dash 4.0 for my wife and she loves it! Great phone for the price! Blu make a great product and has a lot of the same features of the more expensive phones, but at a price everyone can afford, The manual that comes with the phone, is horrible. It gives you only the very basic instructions. Play around with the phone and you will it is very easy to set up. Android systems are basically the same. I enjoyed setting up my wife phone and seen the quality that Blu puts in their phones, that I bought a Blu Advance 4.0 for myself. You cannot go wrong with this phone and I would recommended to everyone. Looking for accessories for Blu is hard, but go to Amazon.com and they have some.

Wanted a smart phone but did not want to pay an arm and leg for...being retired, I do not need all the apps and all the good stuff that is available, but this phone has easy calling and messaging and connection to the web for basic google searches, email and even checking facebook..

I could not ask for a better value. What you get with this phone is worth way more than $89. First off, it comes with brand spanking new 4.2 Android which is sweet, along with a quick dual-core processor, and a decent amount of RAM. Has not frozen up on me once yet, and doubt it will, unlike my old Android phones. Only complaint about this brand in general is the lack of cases available for Blu products. Though when you order this phone, it does come with one, albeit not very durable or good quality. Aside from the cases or lack there of, I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a good phone cheap.
