We bought this for our 6 year old. He wanted to experiment with playing an electric guitar, we didn't want to spend a lot of money on something that was going to get 10 minutes of attention and then get put in the closet forever. This has proven to be a good product for the money. Other starter packs were 50-75% more in price. Granted their amps were bigger and not battery powered, but this one does exactly what we need it to do. He has had it for a few months now and has not put it down. We have even put on a few neighborhood rock concerts since the purchase!!

Was one of my Christmas presents and I have really enjoyed it. I'm learning how to play more everyday. My mom said the only problem was that it was shipped in the actual box and it was not in good shape. Had the ups man not known my mom and delivered to our church, I would have received my present from the ups man instead of "Santa"!

He specifically asked for a guitar for a music store and not a toy, however knowing that in a month he will probably put it down and forget about it, I selected this one.. he loves and because of all the features he thinks we went to the music store and got it.. shhh my secret

Santa brought this guitar to my 7 year old son for Christmas andwhile the amp is not very professional, the guitar more than exceeded our expectations. My son has a great time playing 'Eddie Van Halen" and mom and dad get a reprieve until it is known if this is a more permanent hobby.

We bought the guitar for our seven year old grandson. He loved it and played it (or with it) more than any other gift he received. It is a real musical instrument, not a toy, and he recognized that immediately. He just kept coming back to it all day long. Because it is a real instrument and comes with all necessary accessories, he was able to make "music" from the time he opened it on Christmas morning.
