This was EXACTLY like watching Austin Powers impersonating Freddie Mercury. The overbite/fake teeth - the constant use of 'Love' and "Dah-ling" was utterly ridiculous. Freddie Mercury was a phenomenon - a brilliant talent. The wardrobe/makeup as the first half of this movie must have had the budget of $10. The last half of the movie, they crushed it. Overall, I thought this movie didn't do Freddie's memory justice and focused instead on the lesser parts of his lifestyle. Ironic that this director highlighted a press conference where the group got angry with the press trying to focus on their personal lifestyle than their music and newly released albums - and yet, that is EXACTLY what this direct did in presenting us with Freddie. Disappointing. Glad I didn't have to pay for it.
