We ordered a month ago to try and replace the more expensive one in the market. Not only is Boost more affordable for us, it worked better than the other brand. My kid gained at least a pound every week! We do Boost to help with weight gain because our autistic child who is a picky eater, also takes ADHD medication. So happy with our Boost Kids Essentials.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has always been a picky eater. It's been a struggle making sure he eats well enough that we don't have to worry about nutrition. These are perfect to fill in the gaps of his diet and help him get the nutrition he needs. He loved the taste and was even asking about having one like it was a treat. Win for mom, win for him.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two children, ages 9 and 12. I still worry about their nutrition. We eat well and try to serve healthy options as much as possible. My kids are both small and I worry that they need extra nutrition to help them grow. I was excited to see this Kid Essentials drink from Boost--it has extra nutrition and vitamins in it. It is considered a caloric dense drink--it has a lot of calories in it with not as much liquid. It contains high amounts of calcium and Vitamin D--more in what you would find in regular milk. It contains protein to help fill kids up as well. My kids thought the chocolate flavor tasted good. They liked it and said they would drink it everyday if they could. I also tasted it--it reminds me of other nutrition drinks--it is not as sweet as regular chocolate milk and tastes okay. My kids liked it and finished their box. I like that they were getting extra nutrition and vitamins in a drink they enjoyed. I do not think my kids require this amount of extra nutritional supplementation on a regular basis--but I would consider it if I know they have not been eating right or perhaps following an illness where they did not eat a lot. I recommend this product if parents are looking for a nutritional supplement in drink form. My kids really liked the taste and the small boxes are cute and kid appealing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the BOOST Kid Essentials Complete Drink in Chocolate Craze flavor and the kids can't get enough of them! They love the taste and I can feel good about what I'm giving them! They are packed with 25 vitamins and minerals, protein, calcium and vitamin D! It doesn't get better than that!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son wasn't really in to liking these much. He's 12. He said they were not very good tasting. I loved that it had a lot of vitamins and daily essentials kids need when needing a balance diet. Wish it would taste more like a vanilla milk. A bit chalky tasting. Maybe chocolate would be better or blend it with a banana.
