Boppy Best Latch Breastfeeding Pillow, Kensington Gray

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When nursing my first child I used the original Boppy support pillow but after a surprise C section for my second child I was eager to find a nursing pillow that provided more support. Insert, Boppy Best Latch Breastfeeding pillow. It's obvious this product was developed by a lactation consultant! I loved how it was contoured to fit my body's post C-section needs and also my preferred nursing positions once my abdomen was less sore. My husband used the pillow when he bottle fed our baby and appreciated the shape of the pillow because it allowed him to find a comfortable feeding position as well. I loved the adjustable belt which provided a more secure feeding experience. If you haven't used a breastfeeding pillow with a belt before, you are missing out- its a game changing. It really allows you to position and secure the baby to improve latch. The pillow is dual sided adding to its versatility. A structured and firm foam side which was perfect for nursing a newborn. This firm side might be my favorite feature of this pillow. It provided an ideal surface for me to position my newborn. It was firm and flat but soft enough for his delicate skin with its soft minky fabric. The reverse side of the pillow is softer fiber fill which is ideal for use as your baby grows. I found the plush side a great way to get super snuggly with a baby and read books while having the added support of the pillow. Let's be real, a mom's arms tired after a long day so both baby and mom loved this! The pillow is eye catching, the grey floral print is subtle yet beautiful. And with the easy care instructions you don't have to worry about getting the pillow a little messy, it can easily be cleaned by tossing the entire pillow into the washer. This was a perk for me because I dislike trying to get those tiny slipcovers back onto a fitted shape. This pillow could be improved if they tweaked the belt. The band is made from the same fabric as the pillow which can make it hard to easily adjust, especially when you're one handed holding a newborn. The buckle itself was large and made it easy to clasp. The placement of where the buckle clasped was also a little off. Both my husband and I noticed that when trying to unclasp it was a little awkward. The pillow would benefit if placement of the buckle could was more ergonomically located. This pillow was a necessity with establishing breastfeeding after delivering my third child. It sits the baby high to your chest so you don't have to hunch over to nurse. The other feature that I really enjoyed was the belt clasp to keep the pillow in place.I received this pillow as part of a giveaway prize from Pregnancy & Newborn Magazine.

This made nursing my son so much easier that it worked for the both of us and made nursing alot more comfortable. On top of it helping with making nursing more comfortable he loved being able to just sit in it. I just found out I'm 10 weeks pregnant and can't wait to get another one! highly recommend

I got this pillow as a gift and It is really useful! I love having the option of switching sides for a different surface! My pillow actually came without the belt strap for some reason and the company mailed one to me within the week! definately one of the best companies! :) would highly recomend this product.

I bought this boppy a month before my daughter was born & I used it the minute I started breastfeeding & it has lasted me a whole year of wear & tear. Also, may I add that it is super comfy & extremely helpful when holding your baby by yourself does get tiring after the first 5 minutes because their head is heavy. It is super easy to wash & it still looks brand new! I would highly recommend this product to my family & friends! You get the best value for the price! Thank you!
