Bosch - 500 Series 24" Top Control Smart Built-In Tub Dishwasher with 3rd Rack and AutoAir, 44 dBA - Stainless Steel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this dishwasher at Lowe's when they had an appliance sale. It was delivered and installed in 2 days. It has taken a few days to get used to loading it because it is quite different from our 15 year old LG dishwasher. We particularly like the third rack. It is useful for utensils that are too big for the utensil holder or for small items and container lids. I like being able to lay the container lids flat on the third rack. It is very quiet, so I like having the red light glow below so I know it is actually running! When we purchased this dishwasher we were not made aware that it was possible to connect it to our WiFi. I do not see any advantage to connecting it to an app so we are using it without WiFi. It works just fine without being connected to an app!But I do wish the salesperson had pointed that out because we would have purchased a different model if we had known. I am not at all interested in having so called "smart" appliances.

The first one lasted well over 15 years and we replaced it because we remodedled our kitchen and not because it stopped working. Many years ago we had made sure its decibal level was low enough for an open kitchen with the living room and it was quiet. We decided to buy another low decibal rated Bosch dishwasher because of our positive experience. This second one has not disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice machine....quality product. There was a learning curve for me loading the racks as the tines are slanted. Once I watched a YouTube video, I learned a couple of cool tricks and am super happy with my choice. Also, starting the machine (for a rinse or a wash) on my phone is really entertaining. (You can also start it at the machine). I searched A LOT for the right machine especially since appliances are not cheap -- you want to be SURE!!

The rental grade dishwashers of the past can't stack up to this baby. Literally. So much more capacity. So much cleaner results. Better drying. Everything is so much better. Worth opting for the auto dry feature, too! You won't be disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely quiet machine, really easy to hook up. Had a weird plastic smell initially, but that went away after approx 20 cycles. The buttons are a little tricky to get used to, it's hard to figure out what combos do what, and the phone connection method can make it more complicated. Regular cycle can be approx 3 hours, which seems insane, versus the "60 minute speed wash".
