Bose SoundLink Color Bluetooth Speaker II - Limited Edition, Midnight Blue (Amazon Exclusive)

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've had mine for 3 years and listen to it daily. It is incredibly versatile, has been left outside accidentally in the rain without any issue, and at one point was left in my basement where my cat knocked it behind the washer. I found it a month later lying in water! I truly thought it wouldn't play after. It turned out to be perfectly fine, not faultering at all in the excellent sound quality that only Bose can deliver.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought mine in 2017 for the backyard and I love it. It's been dropped, bitten(dog), targeted by blue jays and nuthatches. Fog,rain,snow, backseat in August for a week, this thing still rocks! The only source of entertainment for a six week kitchen renovation it was glued, painted, drywall dust, drywall mud, grouted and it still rocks! Battery life wasn't great from the get go and I knew this going in, but I was willing to sacrifice that for sound quality. To be honest I listen to rock about 99% of the time and this is a nice rock speaker for this price point. Hey if you're over 50 and still like to crank Metallica this speaker won't disappoint you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this for a couple of months battery didn't even last an hour after the last charge. Apart from that the speaker is great but i'm seriously unhappy with the battery quality. The most I've had out of it is about 4 hours. It's a bit of a scam that battery life can't be rated below. Purely because the battery life is so poor it really ruins the portability so I have to mark this as poor overall. I have owned much cheaper speakers in the past that were nowhere near as poor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really pleased with the SoundLink Colour, whilst the sound is not as full as my revolve+ it really is a great sound. Tried it n our garden - sound was clear, full and easy to listen to even at higher (and highest) volume, no matter where you stood the sound was enjoyable. I purchased this as a bathroom speaker and was concerned that it may be effected by that kind of environment, but as the speaker will never get any water splashed on it (though it is water resistant) Bose confirmed it will be absolutely fine. When in party mode with my Revolve it really is a good listening experience. Obviously you have to make your own mind up, but were you to buy one of these, you wont be disappointed in the slightest.

This is a very annoying piece of equipment. It's never worked properly since the day I got it, and I should have returned it right away. But I didn't. Now I am trying to stop myself from taking it outside and driving the car over it multiple times, or taking a hammer to it. So frustrating. The connection where you're supposed to plug in the charging cord has always been a problem with my speaker. Badly made, to start with. Now it's really bad and I have to use tape to keep the connection sort of there. The battery runs down too fast to charge and use it unconnected. Also the pairing with my phone/computer is hit or miss - "miss" far more often than "hit". When I can get it to work, I love the sound. But it's not worth the hassle.
