Boss Audio Systems UTV4BRGB Black Weatherproof Sound System for UTV 4 Piece

I found the boss UTV4BRGB speaker system to be surprisingly good. The Bluetooth range exceeded the stated 33ft and the remote worked up to 40ft before disconnecting. It has endured Colorado's cold, rain, and snow without issues. The lack of a built-in volume knob means using your phone, but keeping the volume below max provides distortion-free listening. The speaker can get loud, and the light-up feature with color changes can be controlled with the remote. The only drawback is the poor quality zip ties included. I used Velcro straps instead. I plan to update my review after testing the SPL and observing how it holds up in the sun.

Upon opening the box, I noticed sticky residue on all seams. When I installed it for a camping trip and took it for a ride, it started falling apart after less than a 1/4 mile. The product seemed to be made of cheap PVC pipe assembled poorly. It didn't last long before breaking.

I installed these speakers on my son's golf cart and they sound great. However, the control feature has a permanently attached aux out line, which I removed. I believe most people will buy this for the wireless feature, so keeping the aux out line seems unnecessary.

I found the BOSS Audio ATV25B to be a great, affordable option for adding sound to my 2015 Honda Pioneer 500. I attached it to my UTV's back rack using the provided straps and easily plugged it in with the cigarette lighter plug. The sound quality was surprisingly good, and I could hear my music clearly while riding on the trails. The speaker is large, but for $150, it was a fantastic purchase that I am happy with.

I purchased this unit a couple of months ago for my Yamaha Viking VI, but it has stopped working. The high and mid sounds are good, but it lacks bass. Bluetooth connectivity reduces sound quality by half, so using the auxiliary cable is recommended for better sound. It would be more convenient if Bluetooth maintained sound level and quality.
