BRATZ Design Your Own Sewing Machine

My daughter loves this machine and loves learning on it. She loves to sew on it. We got this machine for a great price online! I bought a back up for it. So far, the only difficult thing has been threading the top and bottom with the bobbin, but I am not a sewer. A friend has taught my daughter how to do it. Not able to use thicker cloths on this, but otherwise works great! My daughter was thrilled with this machine and Santa was the man!

I bought this machine when they were first put out for sale at $29.99. I thought is would be a great start for my 11yr old. The machine is so difficult to thread! Then the needle broke while still inside the machine (I'm still trying to remove the needle). I wouldn't recommend this machine for anyone. It's cute, but that's it!

I purchased this for twin grand daughters who are 8. It is well made and well packed. It came with everything necessary to sew immediately. Both had fun sewing for the first time and looking forward to material purchases. The bobbin thread gets tangled frequently, however and it doesn't work well on thin fabric. Very good for a beginner and for the price, you can't beat it.

This was a great bargain. I couldnt believe when we got it it was a real sewing machine. The only problem is that the thread keeps on breaking. Other then that it is great for my 10 yr old daughter who wants to learn how to sew. She has made her first bag and is working on other projects.

It was a pain to get out of the box as is all Bratz products...but it was easy to set up and my daughter was so excited to pretend to be a fashion designer! So far it works just fine. The thread tends to knot up a lot, but then again Im learning right along with her!! :)
