First off I bought these because my daughter had no knowledge of skating and I thought these would be easier for her to learn on than regular rollerskates. Boy was I wrong! The shoe/skates are heavy and the wheels never want to pop out. You have to stop walking and then bend down to pop out the skates. After 3-4 times of her skating around in these shoes the buttons are now extremely hard to push in to get the wheels out. And don't let me forget to mention that if there anything on the sidewalk or road in which your child is skating it will get caught up in the wheels and you will have to dig it out.

I ordered these skates online for my daughter's 10th birthday 5/8. She skated on them the next day (one time) and the wheel broke off, so now I have to go thru the trouble of taking them back to the store and try to reorder again because I don't think the store carries the skates onsite only online. I am very disappointed and so was she.

My Children are 4 and 7...Either has ever owned skates, but they are both very excited about "heelies" as they call them. There have been a few 'fall downs" and "some tears" but they are learning...and getting better as they go. So, I have to say "So far So good...." Daddy

My daughter loves these skates. She loves skating around her room and the house. Just push the button on the side to bring the wheels in and out of the shoe. Pretty simple and then you are lifted up and off the ground to skate. Have not been outdoors yet. Sure that will be fine, since the wheels are made from metal and rubber. Plus, my daughter thinks they are pretty and she loves the Bratz, so we can not lose.

My 6 yr old got these skates for Christmas. They are really cute. She loves them. They are a lot heavier that I anticipated them to be. I was a little disappointed in them myself because I thought the skates would pop out more like the heely skate shoes and they don't. The skate portion of the shoes are a little ackward for my daughter to use, but she still loves them because they are BRATZ...
