With these tires I never had to worry about road conditions. Even after 35,000 miles they had better traction than my brand new set of Goodyear K/O 2's. I never lost traction in snow or ice. The first day I replaced my Blizzak's with a brand new set of K/O 2's I slid pulling out of my driveway. That had not happened in the previous 2 years under the Blizzak's.

We were looking for a good Winter tire and found a "Great" Winter tire in the Blizzak line. They worked so great that we bought a set for our Mazda 3. Thanks Bridgestone.

Purchased winter tires for winter driving and so far I have been pleased with the expected performance I bought the tires for. I noticed a great improvement over the summer tires that I used to run through the winter months. The vehicle is a pleasure to drive in the winter.

Tires have been great for 5 winter seasons. I ensure I take tires off before weather get too hot. Great in hard packed snow, wet snow and ice. A great value. Especially if you value your own safety.

I've driven with some bad winter tires before and these aren't the worse by any means. - Deep snow. Mediocre performers, if you find yourself driving on snow & compact snow (burbs, out of towner etc) you can find better options. - Ice. They are decent performers on bare road ice(City driving with regularly cleared streets). On sheer Ice(streets aren't cleared and you get those slick intersections etc) these tires are not comparable to studded tires which rule that domain. If you are a big city driver these are a decent choice just not best choice. I should also mention these are fairly quiet tires as they aren't studded. I still prefer to use studded winter tires because they are legal in my area and they perform better in almost every aspect other than bare road stopping.
