Simply put, on 30,000 miles on the Turanzas, in Washington State, I am not even halfway through the life of my Turanzas, which have provided myself and Mitsubishi Lancer ES 2.0L with excellent safety because of what I observe to be superbly performing wet traction capabilities in the Washington rain. The grip to the road on Interstate-5 is amazing, and optimal in heavy traffic jams and higher speeds when traveling. In the rain, when other cars are breaking their speed down to 45-55mph, I am still at 70mph with ultra grip and handling performance with the Bridgestone engineered tired. My factory fitment Yokohama's are no comparison to Bridgestone quality and performance. The ride of the Turanzas are soft and quiet while even in the summer, they hug the roads in the Washington and Oregon mountains exceptionally well. I was afraid I had damaged them when I accidentally ran over a 2x4 in the middle of the highway at night, that must have fallen off the back of a pickup truck perhaps, but after 25,000 miles on the Turanzas afterward, the same Turanzas are still intact without any damage to the tires. For the record, if you have not tried Bridgestone's Turanzas, please do! As a new lifelong fan of Bridgestone tire engineering, I highly recommend these tires.
I bought a set of of these tires when I was doing a lot of commuting. My car was noticeably quieter and though I have no hard fuel economy numbers I would expect improved MPG performance. I traded my car in with only about 25K miles on the tires, but I was surprised with how much tread was still left and I believe they were on pace to outlive their warranty. Great tires at an excellent price point. You get a lot for your money with these tires.
We put Serenities on our Cadillac DTS, wanting a premium tire that was safe and durable. We take long trips and drive in Ohio Winters so quiet, comfort and traction are all necessary attributes. At over 50 thousand miles there is still good tread and we will most likely replace these tires with another set of Bridgestones.
Put just two news ones on Corolla and the car felt like a brand new car (the other two were Pirelli that had over 60,000 miles on them). Handling and traction for highway driving improved dramatically. Could barely feel the road at higher speeds. Made driving incredibly fun. Excellent investment.
I just got a new set of these tires yesterday. My first set bit the dust after 72,000 miles, of which I drove the majority on highway in rush hour traffic. I drive about 250-300 miles per week, every week, some of it on less-than-optimal surface. I probably would have gotten another season out of them, but one tile kept picking up nails. Cannot say enough good about them. Loved the first set, which replaced the factory performance tires, on my Mazda 3 because they offered a quieter, comfier ride, without sacrificing performance. They also give me confidence driving in snow, ice, and rain, as they handle better than most tires in those conditions. My car has just over 100,000 miles on it today, and I fully expect both these tires and the car to carry me to well over 160,000.
