Just filled the gas can, had a heck of a time trying to get any gas to come out of the spout, but it came out from underneath all over my hands, the floor, my tractor, everywhere but where it needs to go. It's supposed to release by hooking onto the receptacle so it will automatically stop flowing when released, but I only had a real mess. Don't waste your money.

I found safety nozzle cumbersome to use. The container quality is just fine.

This is the absolute worst design I've ever seen for such a simple object. I got gas all over the mower, my hands, my shoes, my clothes and the ground. First, there is a dust cap on the inside of the spout that you have to remove and all it says is "Remove before use". Does that mean before the first use or before every use and then put it back? I don't know but it's pointless either way. Second, DO NOT PULL ON THE SPOUT!! It LITERALLY explodes apart because there is a spring inside. Have fun getting it back together. The little plastic tabs that one of the pointless pieces snaps into will bend very easily. Third, when you screw the spout back on after putting it back together, there are little teeth on the spout that click to hold it in place and keep it tight. Don't be fooled, it's not tight. I tried 3 times to get the teeth to be engaged when the spout was on tight. It never happened. I had to turn it past the teeth to use it. Fourth, the green collar that you have to turn to "unlock" it is an absolute joke. It's flimsy at best. Once I got gas to come out and actually go into the gas tank, the green collar never went back to its original position. If you value your time, your safety, or your money DO NOT BUY THIS GAS CAN! The fact that I have to warn people about a simple gas can is disgusting. I'd absolutely love to meet the designer of this abomination. The fact that I have to give it one star is also upsetting. Like the spout, doesn't leak but you need to check the seals they are easily displaced.
