Briggs & Stratton 85053 Gas Can Auto Shut-Off

Just filled the gas can, had a heck of a time trying to get any gas to come out of the spout, but it came out from underneath all over my hands, the floor, my tractor, everywhere but where it needs to go. It's supposed to release by hooking onto the receptacle so it will automatically stop flowing when released, but I only had a real mess. Don't waste your money.

I found safety nozzle cumbersome to use. The container quality is just fine.

Upon second use of the container to fuel my power boat the entire spout assembly flew apart spraying gasoline all over myself, the boat, the dock and the lake. The spring flew out and the spout nozzle dropped into the lake. The spout assembly design is very flimsy and not suitable to handle the weight of a 5 gal container. Additionally it is very hard to use, leaked even after adjustment, and not safe or reliable. Stay away from this product.

Like the spout, doesn't leak but you need to check the seals they are easily displaced.
