Bright Starts Roaring Fun Play Gym

My son enjoyed this gym. He used it at one month of age and is very good for tummy time as he got older. I like the fact that the baby can use it on his tummy and on his back. Other models like this cost more money. I recommend it for the price since children out toys very fast.

I bought this mat for my very active baby when he was less than a month old. He is easily bored and needs constant entertainment, but will not sit in a bouncy seat or swing. He has loved this play gym from the start. He will play on it any time I need a break and usually wears himself down and goes to sleep. He enjoys looking at the mirror and batting at the toys. He also seems to like the sound of his nails scratching on the fabric. It is very simple to interchange toys from other Bright Starts products or attach any age-appropriate toy with an opening. You can also attach toys to the actual mat, which is nice for tummy play. The crossed bars make this gym sturdy, which is good for babies who kick a lot. It is also machine washable and wipes off easily. I liked it so much, I bought a second for my mom's house. For the price, if the musical lion ever wears out, I'll just buy another.

My baby girl has had this since she was born and started paying attention to it when she was about a month old, now at 3 months she absolutely loves it! This is one of the very few things that will keep her occupied for more than a half hour she stares at the hanging lion and coos the whole time!

This playmat was a big letdown. When we got this thing for my baby, the toys were way to high up and she couldn't reach them. The lion on top is very dumb. You have to smack it on the ground hard in order for it to work. The mirror wouldn't stay in place, and some of the cloth rings that hold the toys in place broke. I have tossed it out into the garbage. Do yourselves a favor...don't buy this piece of work. Spend the extra money and get a better playmat!

I got this play mat for my 2 month baby girl and she just loves it! I had to add some of her toys to it and she can bat them around, and my 22 month old little girl gets under there and pulls on the toys and so far has not hurt the play mat at all. For the price it's a good toy!
