Brinks Solid Brass 30mm Resettable Combination Padlock with 1 3/16in Shackle

The locks were nice, could be good for maybe a locker, or foot locker, but the top part is so thin when you put it through the gate latch you could giggle the handle and it literally would open the latch bypassing the locked latch! Defeating the purpose of the locked gate. Clearly I had to return them and buy the master lock resetting combo locks as they have a standard size metal top that goes through the opening on the gate latch that can not be giggled open! To my surprise the master lock was half the cost of these! They were just out of stock when I tried to buy them the first time. I bought an extra master respetable combo lock for future needs! Just love that you can set your own 4 digit combinations and these last forever I've had a pink one on my boat lock box for 12 years now! I just love them, definitely a faithful lock to have.

We are using these locks at the school locker .. Very good quality of material has been used to make it extra string and give the assurance that one needs while using a safe locking device like this. Coming to durability, this is a one time buy and use forever. Lock is easy to set up and get your own 4 digit code dialed in. They have a good look to them and has simply swapping of each digit at use and get to locking or unlocking at ease. I have another brand but that is now stuck on pulling off and stopped using that and this new piece is excellent and does the great value for money job.There are instructions clearly given on the back of the product and easy to follow to begin using this quick. The solid lock when I say it is solid , heavy and nice brass type make. No complaints other than that so far. Have had all 4 on outdoor gates and haven't seen any rust or had any trouble opening & closing due to being exposed to the elements. All the dials still work just as good as day 1 out of the packaging. I like to have 3 of the numbers in the correct spot, so opening only requires moving the last dial to the correct number. I'd recommend for anyone needing low/medium level locks on anything needing to be secured.

Also, all the dial wheels and shackle are very well made without any sloppiness. Resetting the code is very easy. The whole lock feel high quality. Only one little complaint, the open end of the shackle doesn't go into the lock body deep enough, it could be its biggest bonability. Highly recommended for causual security.

This is a high quality padlock. This is a brand that lasts virtually forever. I like the design and it fits in most places. It worked to secure my stuff in my storage unit. I prefer these with a code like this instead of with a key. Im definitely recommending this padlock. I have no problems with the functionality with product. It’s simple to use.
