This is a hard wired camera system so takes some effort to get it all set up. The camera comes with everything to get it mounted outside. Once set up the camera connects to wifi and is easy to use. Picture and audio are clear. I installed an SD camera as its the end of hurricane/rainy season here in Houston so power issues can occur anytime. Overall recommend this camera as a good alternative to other doorbell cameras.

Doorbell camera has great sound and video. I love that I can monitor who is at my front door, and when my packages are left at the front door. I feel much safer knowing I have eyes out my door. The doorbell is weatherproof which is a must since it is outside. I also love that I can talk to the person on the other side of the door. It comes with the option of cloud storage. Installation was a bit confusing for me, but I am not very tech savvy so it could be that.

I am loving the extra security and peace of mind I get from my Brookstone WIFI Video Doorbell. This video doorbell was easy to install, and is easy to use. It was able to be wired where my old doorbell was, so that helped with the ease of installation. The app for this video doorbell works well and is easy to use. The video I get from my doorbell is crisp and clear. The two way audio works great, and is an awesome feature. I really like that it has night vision, so I can see who is out by my door even when it's dark out. I plan on buying a second one of these soon, for my back porch.

I like having some added protection to my home with being able to see who is at my front door. Installing the video bell was a bit painful, mostly due to the wiring on my new house, but we finally got it setup and installed, we used the mechanical chime as well which was a breeze. Installing the app and adding the device was very simple. The features I really love are the night vision, everything so clear and two way audio to talk to the person at the door. Other features include the live video, video recording and even ability to take a photo. The motion detection is a great feature but it is very sensitive, a bee flies by and it goes off. I also wish it came with a better angled wall mount, positioning this is not as good as I would of liked it to be. You also have cloud storage and this is weatherproof. All in all this is a great video doorbell security device.

I have slept so much better at night knowing it is there. I know there are a lot of brands for these type devices on the market, but I feel like this one is a great choice. The price is amazing and it works as it is supposed so why pay big bucks for another brand that will just do the same thing this one does. Now as far as installation goes; you are going to have to put in some effort and time. You will have to remove your old doorbell and install this one. It's much easier then it sounds but you will need to read the manual and do each step as it says. I'm sure this is the same with any brand. It has to be physically installed. But once you get that done, the app part is just clicking a few buttons and then you are good to go. I haven't had any issues with mine and it has rained a few times so it's definitely weatherproof as it advertises to be. The camera is really nice (1080P) and I love the two way talk. That's added protection for sure because now you don't have to open your door to talk and with covid being a thing, this is great. You can talk right to your delivery people with the touch of a button. I would like to add that it has night vision and oh you will need an SD card of course. I highly recommend this brand and this product to anyone looking for an outdoor video camera for security! I think if someone was looking to break into your home; they would think twice when they saw the camera. Money well spent in my opinion.
