Brother LB5000M Marvel Computerized Sewing & Embroidery Machine

My first time embroidering and nailed it with this machine. This was my first nice machine and I absolutely love it. It has got me sold on only useing Brother sewing machines from now on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very crafty, but definitely a novice when it comes to sewing, so I was super excited to try out the Brother LB5000M. It being a Marvel edition was just icing on the cake since my son and husband are both huge fans. First of all, out of the box, this machine is a beauty. I mean I could have it sitting on my craft table and just admire it! It comes with everything you need to get started, including some nice Marvel designs. The manual is easy to follow and the touch screen makes figuring everything out very easy. It is very quiet and completely automatic which was a huge change from my previous 15-year old sewing machine. In spite of the large learning curve, I found it easy to use and I was able to figure most of it out rather quickly. I am excited to continue experimenting with it and trying more complex embroidery patterns!

First of all the Marvel faceplates are so much fun! I love being able to change up my machine with these really cool designs! The sewing machine is really easy to use. I had to do a little bit of reading up on this before I got into it since it is different from the machines I had used in the past. I personally think that this sews much better than my Singer ever did. The stitches are nice and I don't have any of the problems with the fabric bunching like I used to. Sewing is smooth and the machine runs really nice and much quieter than my other machine. The embroidery machine is new to me and I'm really excited to be learning it. So far it has been a slow process but it is not extremely complicated for me to just dabble with the existing stitches that are already loaded on the machine. I downloaded the Marvel designs and they will be fun to experiment with once I build up my supply of thread. This is definitely a machine that I can grow with and a perfect one for a embroidery beginner like me! The touch screen makes it really easy to use and navigate through but it does take some time get the hang of. I love that this comes with a cover, I just wish it was big enough to go over the embroidery unit attachment, especially if you use this all the time. I am excited to be doing embroidery now and look forward to growing my skills with my Brother Embroidery and Sewing machine!

The machine has a self threading system for the needle that works amazingly. The options for embroidery patterns are never-ending as you can add more to the already large library with a usb thumb drive. This machine is great at sewing and comes with a large variety of stitches preprogrammed.
