Brother LS30 Electric Sewing Machine

My Bernina of 27 year's died and could not be repaired. So I got this Brother machine to get me by during the holidays until I could devote time to research a new machine. The price was right and it will be a good back up and traveling machine. But it's not my Bernina. The Brother does basic ok. A little hesitant to start sewing and I have had trouble with the bobbin - getting it in correctly. I am going to take it in to have it checked out. Saving up to buy a machine from r an experienced sewer and one that can see in heavier fabrics for home decorating projects.

I read reviews before purchasing. This was a very easy machine to set up and get back to sewing with. It's light weight and I was really impressed with the way it can sew. The manual is a little big and with all the languages it is really spread out, but when you find the index it will take you to your question. My old machine was a singer and really heavy metal this is so light. Only time will tell for sure how durable, but right now I am very pleased with this product.

I had a Singer for 35 years that broke and needed replaced. I was concerned about having to learn how to use a new or different brand needlessly. This machine is not complicated and it's every bit as easy to use as the Singer. I believe I've made a good choice in picking it. There are plenty of features and again I can't stress enough how easy it is to use.
