Brother LX2763 Sewing Machine with 27-Stitch Functions

I received this stitch sewing machine for free in exchange of an honest review. I order this machine too sew my son's jeans . At the moment it arrived I feel in love with it. It is a.very cute and very feminine looking sewing machine. It's white with purple design on it. To be honest for me it was a bit difficult to assemble, but it does come with a dvd to help you with that . After a few hours to get it right, I put it to the test. The first thing I checked if the sound when pressed on the pedal was to loud or annoying. To me it was good , not too loud like some i heard on the passed. The pedal is somewhat sensitive, so don't pressed on it to hard it will take off. It is a very good machine I had no problems sewing my son's jeans with it . It has for zippers too , in a zig sah motion. I think this Brother 27 sewing machine is for everyone, from beginners to professional. Everyone will find it very useful. It even has a decent price for the great job it does. Not only is it great looking and works great but it is very lightweight compared to other sewing machines. I recommend this.to every mother or just anyone who loves to sew. It comes well package, you won't have tl worried about breaking upon its arrival, this is a product you won't regret.

The pretty Brother 27-Stitch Sewing Machine, LX2763 is basically a good machine for the value. This is perfect for someone just learning to sew, or for someone that just needs it for mending and the occasional sewing project. Someone that uses one heavily would probably want to spend more for a more rugged machine. There are some plastic parts that I don't like; the foot pedal and spool pins are plastic and seem like they could easily break if not treated properly, and the required bobbins are plastic. It states if you don't use that kind of bobbin you can damage the machine. I've got tons of bobbins already, all metal, so it looks like I'll need to purchase a lot of these plastic ones. When sewing, it is nice to have bobbins ready to go with different colors already on them. The manual says the removable flat bed attachment can be used for storing accessories, but it doesn't have a lid to hold things in. There are all the usual necessary accessories: 6 different feet, a darning plate, a twin needle, 3 pc. needle set, oval screw driver, 4 bobbins (plastic), an extra spool pin, an operation manual , and instructional DVD. The DVD is good for beginners or as a refresher for someone who hasn't sewn in a while. I do like the easy-to-use needle threader and the top drop-in bobbin with a thread cutter. The LED light illuminates the work area nicely. I made a pillow case and the machine sewed smoothly and had even stitches. I played around with the decorative stitches and they look really nice. For the most part, I really like the machine. It's gotten me in the mood to sew again!

I absolutely LOVE this sewing machine. First of all, I know absolutely NOTHING about sewing or sewing machines. I have never really been around a lot of people that sews but have always wanted to learn how to sew. Due to the fact that I knew nothing about sewing or sewing machines, it did take me a while to figure out how to set everything up & get the machine working. Now that I know how to do it though, it is super simple and easy to set up. I LOVE how many stitches the machine can make. I haven't worked with all the stitch types yet, but I'm learning as I go. I started out making something simple (a pillow case) and surprisingly, I was completely done with it within a matter of 10-15 minutes!!! I also decided to sew a "boo boo pack" filled with rice, a heart shaped pillow and a small purse for my 2 year old daughter. Needless to say, I love it that much!!! I honestly can not wait to "practice" more with it and learn even more. I've already been "researching" other projects to try to make. My husband helped me get everything put together and he even sewed using it. He's also looking forward to using it to see what he can make. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this product. I do not know much about sewing machines but the one thing I LOVED about this product is the "self-threading" needle. It helped out tremendously once we figured it out. I think this would be the perfect product for anyone, beginner to professional sewer.

The Brother 27-Stitch Sewing Machine LX2763 is a great sewing machine for crafting. I have had numerous sewing machines over the years, and this by far is the easiest one to use. I have made curtains, pillows, pillow cases and cross stitched christmas stockings that require sewing, I have never really gotten into making clothes. After watching the instructional video that came included, I was ready to get started. The Brother 27-Stitch sewing machine is lightweight and offers full-featured sewing. Very multifunctional. It has a jam resistant, quick set top drop in bobbin, very simple to use. The automatic bobbin winding system made bobbin winding quick and painless. It does come with a brightly lit LED work area, brightens up the work area quite a bit. The built in threader, let me tell you, this is one of the things that thrills me the most about it. Couldn't quite figure it out at first, but after watching the instructional video is was soooo easy. The hardest part to me about using a sewing machine is threading the needle. This takes that worry away, totally awesome. I had the needle threaded in a matter of seconds. It has 27 built in stitches, 63 stitch functions, and an automatic 1 step buttonhole. When I seen the automatic buttonhole, just couldn't believe how easy and simple it was. Just place the button on the buttonhole plate and the machine sews the perfect buttonhole for it. I plan on using this sewing machine for years to come, I am just awed by all the functions.

This is a Brother LX2763 sewing machine. I am already familar with this brand,as I already own one. I bough mine from Walmart 10 years ago and it still works great. No problems with it, which answers the question, 'Do they have a long life span'? Yes, they do. But this machine has more additions than my older one does. This machine has 27 unique built -in stitches. 63 stitch functions,4 feet, 1 step button hole maker. The machine comes with a threaded and installed bobbin where it's suspost to be on this machine. The other question I want to know about this machine is, 'How hard will it be to thread the bobbin and the machine?" The bobbin on this machine is next to the needle,under a clear door. I love this. We will now be able to see when the bobbin is running out of thread. Why hasn't this been thought of before? So I take the one out of the machine and put an empty one on the peg. Now we will see how hard this is to thread the bobbin. It threads fairly simple,Just like my previous machine. Now we will thread the top of the machine. It's just like threading my old machine. The visible bobbin was a great idea. Now we will see how it sews. I used the foot that was already installed in the machine. I'm trying a very narrow hem. You can sew as close as 1/8 inch from the edge of the fabric. It's sewing fine. It sews the perfect hem stitch. It doesn't bunch, or try to run off the fabric. This machine also comes with a needle threader and a lever that allows you to sew backward. I would not hesitate to recomment this machine to a new sewer or an experienced one.
