Good onlyvfirca small start of learning to embordry.
Everything was in the order as described on the website.
Got a new sewing machine that embroiders. Had no embroidery supplies so this was a wonderful kit.
A Thoughtful addition.
This kit contains everything you need to get you started on machine embroidery when you get your embroidery machine. The stainless steel snips are really nice and one of my favorite things in the kit. I've had no problems using the thread. The colors are very basic colors, so eventually you'll want to expand and get more color thread. The polyester threads are shiny and smooth. I have a PE700II which takes 90 wt. bobbin thread. The prewounds in this kit are 60 wt which are used in the combination sewing/embroidery machines like the SE 400. I have not personally used the prewounds in my machine as I have read that there could be tension/bobbin issues if you don't use the recommended bobbin weight. The stabilizer samples in this kit are best used for the 4 x 4 hoop as they are too small for my 5 x 7 hoop. However, the stabilizer samples are medium weight and look like good quality. I have ordered a 4 x 4 hoop for my machine so I could not waste stabilizer when I'm embroidering smaller designs that don't need the 5 x 7 hoop. This starter kit is a good value as long as you are aware of the limitations for the larger hoop machines like the PE770 and PE700II.
