Brother Rjx2517 Refurbished 17 Stitch Se

I have never sewed on a machine before, so I decided to take my chances with a refurbished one. I was pleasantly surprised that this machine came and looked brand new! The DVD toutorial was extremely helpful and within an hour, I was sewing! I would definitely recommend this machine to anyone (even a beginner like me).

Terrific machine was able to sew through three pieces of material for quilted placemats no problem. Tension was great and the stitches were perfect. Very light weight and portable. I am really pleased with the machine.

This sewing machine is easy to setup and does a great job and my wife loves it. I don't know if it's a great machine for experienced users but we just use it for basic stitching and it has been perfect for our needs. It's quiet and simple to use and couldn't beat the price. Hopefully will last many years.

Lightweight and easy to pickup and carry around. The bobbin is super easy to wind and insert and thread comes up with no problem. Love the reverse control and so many choices for stitches and simple to set, just look at picture of stitch and turn dial to number shown. Great for beginner or someone with experience.

This machine DID NOT WORK!! I attempted to sew 3 small kitchen valance curtains and fought this machine from the start. I got through the project but the underside looks horrible. The thread continually bunched up and twice I had to cut it out. So unimpressed that I took it back to Walmart. Will NEVER buy that brand again. Very disappointed!
