Yul Brynner and Charlton Heston, opponents in The Ten Commandments, portray allies in this rousing chapter from the War if 1812. Brynner is Jean Lafitte, the pirate with the demeanor of a gentleman and the heart of a patriot. Heston is General Andrew Jackson, the unbreakable Old Hickory who needs to bend if he's going to whip the British invaders.
