Bumbo - Baby Seat, Lilac

My daughter hasn't had the reaction to the Bumbo other babies seem to have. We've tried her in it a few times and she still dislikes it. I don't know if she would do better with the fabric cover, because the plastic is so cold it startles her. We are also going to try the tray and add some toys because without that she really has nothing to do in this seat. So far she likes her walker much better. Maybe she's just not old enough to enjoy it yet and friends love theirs so I would still recommend someone trying this thing out. It just hasn't been for our child.

I have 2 of these for my son (one at my house, and one for my mom's house). He is 6 months now and it really helps him sit up well. I just bought one for a baby shower gift, because I love mine so much. Get the tray too. It comes in handy for play and feeding!

We use this seat every day in helping my 5 1/2 month old learn to sit up. We use it to let her sit and play. We use it for feedings and I really do love this seat. I actually bought it in purple. To me it was a little pricey but I do think it works great. When I take her to stay with either of her grandmothers, they always ask, Did you bring the bumbo? It has been very helpful and she is learning to sit up

So.. It's great an all, and my son and daughter both had one. They loved them! The only thing I think is.. They can't starting sitting in them until 2-3 months.. well, they start sitting on their own 5-6 months, so for only 3 months worth of use, I don't think it's worth the price. My son only sits in it to eat, and yes, he likes it, but he would be just as happy in his bouncer which has toys, and vibrates, and was cheaper than this by the way!

I bought the Bumbo for my two month old daughter because she LOVED to sit up. I was a little worried we wouldn't be able to use it just yet because of her age, but it worked just fine. I don't know how many times she has fallen asleep just sitting there, playing with her toys. Apparently it is THAT comfortable. I didn't buy one for my older daughter who is now 4, but I wish I had. It's so nice having a safe place for my daughter to sit. My older daughter loves sitting her sister's Bumbo beside her while watching movies or reading a book. We also bought the tray which has been very convenient for playing. I have no doubt that when my daughter is old enough to have snacks (like those little puffs), she will enjoy snacking on them in her Bumbo!
