The corner desk looks great and is reasonably sturdy. Assembly, however, is difficult. You need a large amount of room to lay out the parts. The instructions definately need some work. You could utilize alot less space by having a more organized instruction manual. Additionaly, the desk comes with numerous sizes and types of screws, and many times you will use 2-3 in a step. The screws are shown in a small picture, and while there is a required part list for each step, you aren't told which screw goes where. This requires some thought on the part of the assembler. When assembling the two half-frames, it is a very tight fit. I would bring a spare piece of lumber so that you can use it to hold against the desk as you hammer the pieces in place. Because the desk is flexible, it can be difficult to align the desk tops. Don't tighten any of the bracket pieces down all the way until you're ready to connect both sides. Once assembled, the desks feel very sturdy. Expect it to take at least two people just to carry the box inside. It weighs well over 200 lbs.

I am very happy with my desk, it is the perfect size.I like the color,what can a person say it is perfect.I have had alot of compliments and it looks like its worth more then i paid .thank you on site wal mart! yall are very fast on getting the product out.and the way on the tracking that i would rate a perfect 10. again thank you

My husband and I bought this desk, the hutch, book case and matching dresser and we absolutely love it. It took us 2 days to put it together but it is so well made, heavy, good quality and it appears to be very high end furniture. It has so much storage and and many uses. We would reccommend it to people anyday!

drawers and draw slides are very cheap and they dont hold more then 10-15 pounds. they dont shut or open correctly. there were not enough screws in the kit to put the desk together so i had to buy more elsewhere. the desk was not worth the money i would put a value of 200.00 on this desk.

This is a great desk for the money and you have a lot of room. I have my computer and printer on it and still have a ton of room. However, I'm sure my husband would not agree. We picked it up from the store & he had to have someone help him get it off his truck & then he spent about 5 hours or more putting it together. The finished product is great if you have the time & patience to "build" a desk.
