this kit use to be great but not any more. the cap was cheap and it did even left my hair 3 levels and it was already pretty light. please don't buy this! ive been doing my hair myself for years and I have never had my hair turn out so bad .

I'm so pleased that I am able to order this product from Walmart directly to my home. I no longer have to wonder if Walgreens has it on their shelves and pay $14.99 tax. Walmart prices and reliability is amazing.

I use this to lighten roots ;then put a second blond color to avoid yellow tint or brassy color . Maybe once a year to keep roots from being two toned .

I've been using this product for my root touch up for many years. I like the fact that it only lifts 6 levels so it's not very damaging. I'm not platinum blonde and this product will not give you platinum/ white blonde hair. I am a level 9 blonde on my lengths and I like my roots a level deeper so it looks natural and this product works well for me since I'm a natural level 4 . As a disclaimer, I originally got my hair lightened in a salon and I just do my own re - growth with this product. If you're looking for a very light platinum blonde and your hair is very dark, or previously colored, I don't recommend this product. You'd need something stronger and or several applications to reach a light blonde.
