Initially, I was a little apprehensive on the whole recharging the AC thing as I am not a car expert. But considering the fact that it might cost me a couple of hundred bucks I gathered confidence and went to Walmart and purchased this product. Read the instructions refilled the Gas in my Car's AC (Honda Civic 2005) and that's it. It was done. You just have to adjust the pressure to the current temperature (I purchased a digital thermometer as well $5). The whole process took around 10 to 15 minutes (more time I spent reading the instructions and it only took around 4-6 minutes to refill). Results are outstanding as my CAR AC cools very well now. The only downside is I am getting less mileage as AC is working properly now(but in this hot summer its all worth it)
The Fittings (Connectors) MUST be made of Metal not cheap plastic. Plastic Freezes gets brittle and cracks; this is why users of this product have complained about leaks. Actual AC Pros (Professionals) know this as to why they use Refill Hoses with Metal Fittings. Even the inexpensive kinds like the Ordered thru Walmart.com, Fjc Inc. 6036 Dispenser Recharge Hose And Gage For Can Freons, $13.80; as long as still has metal fittings (painted black; not black plastic).
I believe this was probably the best 40-bucks I ever spent in my life! I was in a bind with my 2001 Ford Taurus A/C blowin' anywhere from warm, to warmer -- and we were coming right into the triple-digit temperature -- Las Vegas summer! The short story is; I couldn't even stand to get into the car and drive with my A/C like that, while outside it's about 102 to 112 degrees. But life goes on... and I HAD to drive, right? So, I had been quoted "an arm and a leg" from the shop I took the car to. Then, I happen to catch a commercial for this product out of the corner of my eye, when just walking past a TV... Reading the review's here, it seemed to me it worked around maybe 70 to 80% of the time, but then a small percentage ended in disaster for the users. Well, I had too many other bills at the time to deal with the 400.00 to 700.00 bucks I was being quoted at the shop, so I decided to give 'A/C pro' a go. It turned out to be the best move I could have made! I followed the directions to the 't', and injected the whole-can -- within 5 to 10 minutes of running the system full-blast, my A/C was artic-cold !!! Woo-Hoo! Suddenly driving the congested Las Vegas Boulevards and Freeways was a pleasure again -- instead of a nightmare! It's been 5 weeks now, and my Taurus's A/C is maybe a tad-less cool than when I first injected this product; but still icy-cold and a pleasure to be out there driving when it's 112-degrees out! I reiterate; it's probably the best $40.00 (or so) I ever spent! I AM NOT affiliated with this product or company in any way. I'm just darn-tootin' glad I found their product!
Easy to apply. Not a bad product
i would suggest this item to my friends and family now when it's hot outside it is COOL in my car
