A/C Pro R-134A Professional Grade Recharge Hose and Gauge

Purchased a little over a year ago. Used it once. Needed to use it again this year and it was leaking around the trigger. Called AC Pro to complain, saying I should get more than one use out of it. Even though it was a little over a year old, they offered to send out a replacement at no cost to me. I was floored. So, the product deserved 1 star but got 2 because of the unheard of customer service! I'll be getting the new model that works with puncture and self sealing cans.

I went and returned it! I tried it for over an hour, watch videos on how to use it and it wouldn't pick up the liquid to put it in the car. Maybe I just got a bad pump, but I went and got a different one at AutoZone

I purchased this kit last year and used it for one of our vehicles. I had to use it again a couple of months ago and it was still fine. Today, I tried to use it with a new can, and the needle that is supposed to pierce the top of the refrigerant can broke off while puncturing the seal. The seal didn't break all the way through, and the gauge is useless. I'm not sure that buying a new gauge will allow me to use that can, or if it will break the needle on a new gauge to try.

This includes the pressure gauge, high-pressure hose connector for you car's low pressure port and the tap for Freon cans all in one re-usable unit. It works on virtually any car that uses Freon 134a (the currently used stuff). It's an easy way to make your car's air conditioner blow cool air again. It won't help if your compressor quits or if you have a major leak in the system, but if your A/C just isn't very cold anymore and you want to check it, this will let you check current Freon pressure and add more if you need a recharge without paying an arm-and-a-leg to have it fixed. Once you have located the low-pressure port in your car, it's easier and cheaper than changing the oil - and a lot cleaner!
