Cain's: Flakes Minced Onion, 2.85 Oz

Flavor of fresh onion in a very convenient form. Use minced onion flakes dry in soups, stews, gravies, & in other high-liquid foods. For the texture of fresh onion, soak 1 part chopped onion in 2 parts cold water for 3 min. For crispier onions, use ice water. Drain & use as raw onion; toss in salads; add to meats, fish, omelets & potato dishes. For smaller pieces of onion, use cain's minced onions. For a mild onion flavor, cover w/boiling water & soak for 3 minutes. Add onion toward the end of the cooking time to obtain maximum fresh onion flavor. 1/4 cup dried onion = 1 cup fresh raw chopped onion. When you want larger pieces of onion, use cain's chopped onion flakes.
