Caldwell E-MAX Low Profile Electronic Hearing Protection Grn / Blk 487557

I have been using these muffs for about 4 months. I hit the range 2 times a week. I originally had a pair from Amazon, got this set as an add on effectively paying the same as the amazon ones but these are much more comfortable. I dont even pick up the amazon ones anymore, Only gripe is when you have the volume turned up you get some feedback.

I had no intention of buying Caldwell as Im not the biggest fan of their products. However it was the deal offered when I was buying ammo so I picked it up for $20. It does a good job and is pretty comfortable if you spend more than a couple of hours out at the range.

These electronic muffs work pretty well. I can hear birds chirping, and normal conversation, but they immediately cancel out gunfire. The sound comes back quickly enough that I can hear the tail end of the echo from the shots. They are a bit uncomfortable for me. I don't like muffs. I stretched them out some, and they're better, but still uncomfortable. They're sensitive enough that they cancel out the sound of the slide dropping on my Browning Buck Mark .22 Pistol, when I chamber a round.

Almost didn't order because the price was so low. How could it be any good?? Very glad I went ahead and placed the order. Performance is excellent. Know in advance, however, it will run through a pair of batteries quickly. Best to keep some spares around. But hey, even without batteries they still deaden the ambient noise.

well made hearing protection device, stereo speakers and a very simple to operate on off/volume control. Ear contact pads are not as comfortable as some but are adequate. Hearing protection is great and very fast response.
