We bought this game for my babe over his vacation so he would have something to do, He loves this game the graphics are outstanding and he gets so into it. He plays it mostly online but i would recommend this game to anyone who loves war games the only problem i have with it is now I've had to down grade to a smaller T.V. for my shows because he's taken over the big one
The campaign is good, but my online experience was well... bad. There are glitches and problems, like any other online experience, but the real problem isn't from the game. Lots of other players are almost trying to get you to hate this game. I can never play a match without turning off my system in anger and frustration. But sometimes the online can be VERY fun and addictive. Even though sometimes online is bad, I still recommend it for the great campaign and Spec Ops missions.
This game will blow you away, the graphics are out of this world! I am a huge call of duty fan and i can tell you when i bought this game it was worth every cent. So if you are thinking about buying this game STOP THINKING AND BUY IT!! you won't regret it!!!
The newest Call of Duty is awesome, don't get me wrong. But I think Infinity Ward has some catching up to do. The collision detection in the game is off, delayed alot, especially online. The Playstation Network is leagues ahead of XboxLive. I sit in Xbox lobbies waiting for 15 minutes to play a game. And you get stuck on things all the time in the maps. You rarely had this problem in World at War. And the map interaction is frustrating. Why can I jump onto this box, but not the exact same box right next to it. It doesn't make sense. Awesome game overall, but Infinity Ward has some learning to do. They should pick up World at War and learn.
The game is sweet. the single player is fun and tough to beat but is is kinda short. the online multiplayer is fantastic as was expected. A great addition to the modern warfare game are the special ops missions where you can play solo or with a friend(online or local) and try to complete a variety of different missions. it is a great addition to the game. overall this game is awesome. if you haven't played the online multiplayer yet, you should definitely play the single player first to get used to the game. the online multiplayer is tough when you first start but just keep at it and soon enough you will be holding your own. you have to learn the maps!
