The locking rings are used to connect the Swivel Coupler to your two RhinoFLEX hoses and help provide a secure, airtight hose connection. The RhinoFLEX Swivel Coupler is a non-permanent accessory, so you can use or remove it as needed. The Swivel Coupler is non-restrictive, allowing free flow and it stores in a standard 4-inch square RV bumper. No clamps needed.
